This Thursday, December 16th is the Super Bowl for Chive Rare Coin Collectors. The AP (Artist Proof Coins) will be released. Why is this so important? A few reasons.
Every single coin we launched this year has completely sold out. This is your chance to score an AP of those coins – From Farley Foley to Bob Ross, to our patron saint, Bill Murray.
We hand select the finest quality coins for the Artist Proof Coins. In some cases we only choose 3-5 coins to become AP’s. Therefore these coins are the rarest, and therefore most valuable coins we mint.
Each coin is numbered outside the original issuance.
So if you missed the Venkman coin, for example, this is your chance to get an even more rare coin – an AP Venkman. Which will also be available in 1/10 oz. Gold AP.
Throughout the year, we collect and store these coins in our vault as they are launched. They will ship the very minute you buy one. So you need not worry if your coin will arrive before Christmas. It will be at your doorstep in no time.
So how do you score an AP?
